Aggie Football

Like many years past, we all watch the Aggie Football game on Thanksgiving in hopes that they will win against TU!! This year we had a few extra reasons to watch. 1) we live there! 2) we hope to both be going there next year and 3) the Aggies are on a winning streak!

Here's our little Aggie geared up and ready for the game!!

His shirt says, "I yell at midnight too!" (Thanks Kourtney for the fabulous shirt!!)

Turkey Day

We celebrated Thanksgiving up in Dallas with my parents this year. We left College Station with 82 degree weather. Drove 3 hours, passed 12 different state plates....and 1 country (Canada), and made it there safely and ready for some food. The next day, (Thanksgiving Day) a cold front came through and by that night it was in the 30's! Ahhhh, how I love TX weather!!

Here's a few of our Thanksgiving pics!!

It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas....with 80 degrees!

So, this week Nathan and I put up our Christmas decorations, which take up about 1/4 of our storage unit. :) I love this time of year!! Plus it's Wyatt's 1st Christmas, all the more reason to celebrate!

First Cold Snap

So, we had our first really big cold snap the other day and we decided to take a walk in the neighborhood with Wyatt. Of course he had to be properly attired! :) I just happen to have the perfect outfit! Cue the blue bear suit mom!! Isn't he a cutie?? Nathan said he was reminded of a scene on The Christmas Story...can you name that scene???

Veteran's Day

On this day, we celebrate all those that have, so generously, fought for us and lost their lives doing so. We also recognize those fighting the fight today!

Thanks to a wonderful husband that has done so much to help in the efforts over there! I love him dearly and I'm so grateful for him.

And lastly, to all the wives, children, mothers and fathers that have sent their loved ones off to war, bless you for being selfless and supporting your solider!

We decided to take a walk in the park on a lovely fall day! (Avery couldn't make it, so she hitched a ride)

My Princess Leia

Nathan had surgery last week on his middle ear. They had to go in and remove bone that had deteriorated plus add a prosthetic bone. It took 4 hours and 15 mins. I was so relieved when the doctor finally came out to say everything "Looks good, looks real real good!" (that was for you Laura)

Here are a few pics taken just after he woke up....he was a bit chatty and silly!! It was hilarious!
