Correction

Did I say he wasn't crawling yet????? Well that changed the day after I wrote this. Not only are we crawling now, but pulling up on anything and everything he can get his hands on. Here we go...........

7 Months

Today we hit 7 months baby!!!! I can't believe it! My baby is so big!! To date, we have 1 tooth...and it seems like the whole mouth is coming in at once! He sleeps 10 hours a night, which I am soooo grateful for. However, he is a night owl. He likes to go to be at midnight and sleep until 10am. Great for nights that I'm up late, but that occasional night I am exhausted and want to crash a 9pm, he's not having it. :) Went to the doc on Mon and he weighs 16.4 lbs and is 28 in. long. He hasn't crawled just yet, but we are so close I know it's gonna happen any day now. He has the crawl position, but just rocks right now. He'll get it! Other than that, he's a happy baby when he's teeth aren't giving him troubles.

2 Year Anniversary

Today, we celebrated our 2 year anniversary. WOW!! Time flies! Here's a few things that have happened since that day in Jan 2009...

Lived in 2 different states
Deployed 2 times
Had a baby
2 career changes
(just to name a few)

It's been a whirlwind that's for sure, but I so do love that man of mine!! Happy Anniversary Love!

Christmas 2010

This year we had a few new additions to Christmas. First, Nathan was able to be here for the first time since we've been married. I'm so grateful that we had him here as his comrades weren't able to share Christmas with their families. Duty calls....

In addition, Wyatt got to celebrate his 1st Christmas. I don't think he understood anything, but he sure loved to open the presents and all the pretty lights.We read the story of the birth of our Savior in Luke to him and he was so quiet and calm. It's so fun to have a new little one around to celebrate with. I look forward to the many years to come!

          

                             

Bath Time Multitasking

Yesterday, while giving Wyatt a bath, he decided to do a little reading. :) We are starting him early...

Playing Catch up!!

Sorry I haven't blogged in awhile. I did ultimately come down the an upper respiratory infection, which I couldn't kick. After a week of antibiotics, I had to go back for another round and a steroid shot. That did the trick! HALLELUJAH!! Being sick is no fun with a baby! I was so worried I was going to get him sick too!

On another note...we have tooth #1!!!!!!! Yes, that's right. Tooth #1 made an appearance on Saturday morning at 1am. Needless to say, we didn't have a happy baby. I don't think he went to sleep until 3am. Poor little guy! He acts as if another is on it's way. So maybe we will have 2 front teeth for Christmas! He'd better hurry!

As for the crawling, well he is up on all fours and rock'n!! We purchased a new rug last week so it would be a little easier on his knees. So, with any hope he'll be around in no time. I could wait a little longer, but he just gets so frustrated when he can't move! I want him to stay little for a bit longer. They grow up so fast!!

We went to Houston for the weekend (see picture below). Wyatt LOVES car rides, especially trips! Avery jumps on to make sure she isn't left behind. She freaks out when we start packing up. The shakes begin.

Houston is great because it's only an hour and a half! PERFECT!! We decided to take his changing pad instead of his crib. Mainly because it's only 2 days and we felt like we were taking everything but the kitchen sink with us. So, we thought we would give it a go. Wyatt likes to scoot all over the place and we found him asleep in some weird positions. See below. He loved hanging off the end for some reason! of course we moved him back...what kind of parents do you think we are??

Rug

For my birthday I got lots of gift cards and money....which I LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used them to get this pretty little thing for our livingroom!! :) (Wyatt's knees thank everyone as well!!)
